November 2021 through June 2022
Six positions are available, one teacher is assigned to each of our buildings.
Temporary Teachers will support assigned buildings.
Full time position with insurance benefits.
COVID-19 VACCINATION VERIFICATION
Molalla River School District requires all staff to be fully vaccinated effective October 18, 2021 unless a religious or medical exception is approved. New employees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination at the time of hire. (Please contact Human Resources if you need more information regarding the approval of exceptions).
JOB GOALS:
- Create a classroom environment which is safe and conducive to learning.
- Implement instructional strategies and programs which meet the needs of a diverse student population.
- Assist students in the acquisition of skills and knowledge necessary to achieve the State Benchmark Standards.
- Develop a positive working relationship with students, staff, administration, parents, and community.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 1. Holds a valid Oregon Elementary Teaching license.
- Knowledge of child growth and development at each level of instruction.
- Understands the instructional and assessment requirements necessary to assist students in reaching the content and performance standards as established by Oregon's Educational Act For The 21st Century.
- Possesses knowledge of effective behavior management methods.
- Possesses functional computer literacy, knowledge of word processing and an understanding of how computers can assist instruction.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance as defined in District policy and regulations.
